FitBit is a physical activity tracker designed to help you become more active, eat a more well-rounded diet, sleep better and ultimately, turn you into a healthier human being. It automatically recognizes and record workouts, walking, running, biking, aerobic exercise and integrates with software that encourages you to be more and more active.
I purchased my FITBIT Flex 2 last year in October from Dick’s Sporting Goods for about $50. I can honestly say, “it has been one of the smartest Health & Fitness decisions I’ve made!” While my base model FitBit Flex 2 lacks heart rate tracking, and it doesn’t have a display, it swim-proof, and it does the basics and it does them well.
I put it on and forget about it. It can be worn in the bath tub or shower and while swimming. It’s waterproof down to 50 meters (about 165 feet) and can be used in both fresh water and salt water. I love not having to take the tracker off when it’s time to shower, which also means I’m less likely to forget it on my dresser.
My FitBit Flex 2 recorded over 1 MILLION steps since I purchased it October 2017…IMPRESSIVE!!!
My FitBit Flex 2 motivates me towards meeting my #GFEPart2Over50FitnessGoals. The times I get home and find out I am about 2,000 steps short of my daily step goals, I will start moving until I hit 12,000 steps.
